Our Mission

Sportsmen’s Ministry is an outreach ministry of Harmony Grove Baptist Church, assisting individuals capable or incapable, who have a desire to be outdoors, with emphasis on those who require extra help to enjoy nature as God has provided for us. Our goal is to create lasting experiences that enrich lives one person at a time, and most Importantly, reach the lost for Christ. In addition, we assist in acquiring any special equipment needed, along with tearhhig how to use it. We strive to teach proper handling of firearms, archery equipment, and other sports equipment through safety courses.

We in the Sportsmen’s Ministry strive to bring God’s word to others thru Devotion and Prayer. Whether It be a planned event or monthly meeting, the Bible & God’s Word take center stage at all times.

As we host events, such as local fishing trips, skeet shoots and archery tournaments, we look forward to sharing God’s word with the people we meet.

The Sportsmen’s Ministry has recently expanded our ministry to our local Jail. We look forward to reaching out and forming new relationships thru God’s word. Each week brings a new & exciting opportunity to share God’s word with those who need it most
